ArmA 1 aka Armed Assault (ArmA)
Please note that this guide was started with ArmA O2, then it was finished with ArmA 2 O2, there might be subtle differences, but essentially they are the same program.
This is small kind of miscellaneous user guide covering all kinds of areas of O2.
What is Export Version
What is the “Export Version” of O2 I hear about??
It is BIS released O2 release candidate 1 or 2, cannot remember, or one users (forgot his name) patched O2 (still release candidate, 2 we recall) which allows you to export and import those different model formats like 3DS Max and naturally the old OFP P3D format.
Basically if you want to save ArmA P3D to be opened in OFP O2, then you use export versions save to old p3d format feature. Of course there are items in the ArmA MLOD format which aren't working in OFP MLOD, but that's another topic.
Here is the executable only download of this export version. Use it along side with your already installed (you have to have it installed!) final release of BIS tools/o2. Keep it renamed something like in this archive, so you can run this separately from the final version of O2.

New - Creates new 3D model, or really just clears all windows / model settings.
Merge - Merges another model into current one. Be very careful with the LOD names, they should be identical of the two models you're trying to merge. Be very careful as you can ruin your existing model by messing up the merge, do backup first every time.
Merge As Selection - ?
Save - Saves the model.
Save As - Saves the model into your specific file name.
Import - Lets you import 3DS Max or OBJ model files (no export available other than in the “export version” of O2).
Options - Configuration, options, settings.
Shortcuts - ?
Edit
Undo - Undoes your last command.
Cut - Cuts the selected part of model, lets you paste it somewhere else.
Copy - Copies the selected part of model into clipboard, lets you paste it somewhere else.
Past - Pastes the contents of selected model from clipboard.
Select All - Selects all parts of the model.
Deselect - Deselects all parts of the model.
Invert Selection - Inverts selection, unselected becomes selected and … selected becomes unselected.

Edit modes - Chooses different edit mode.

Create
Point - Creates one vertice/point to the mouse pointer location when pressing INSERT key.
Plane - Creates plane.
Box - Creates box.
Circle - Creates circle.
Sphere - Creates sphere.
Cylinder - Creates cylinder.
New Face - Creates new face where possible, needs to have proper selection of points.
Proxy - Creates proxy.
Create Polygon - Creates polygon.

Shape - ?
View
Viewers → Buldozer: Buldozer (ArmA) configurations.
Front - Front view.
Top - Top view.
Left - Left view.
Projected - 3D preview view.
Right - Right view.
Back - Back view.
Bottom - Bottom view.
Zoom - Selects zoom tool.
Zoom In - Zoom's in.
Zoom Out - Zoom's out.
Center & Zoom - Drawing: Centers the view to middle of the model.
Center & Zoom - Selection: If you have anything selected, this zoom will snap into the selected items.
Center & Zoom - Auto: ?
Solid fill faces - Fills faces.
Structure
Check Faces - Checks faces for errors?
Check Textures - Checks for missing textures (kind of same as mass texture rename tool).
Center All - Centers your model into the grid.
Find Flags - ?
Topology → Find Non-closed - Marks non closed faces.
Topology → Close - Attempts to close a face. Only selectable when proper parts of model are selected.
Topology → Find Components - Finds and creates new selections for all the model's components. They are named ComponentXX ranging from 01 to 99. Its been said you cant have more than 99 components(?).
Topology → Split - ? Only selectable when proper parts of model are selected.
Topology → Break Velds - ?
Convexity → Find Non-Convexities - finds non convex parts of the model(?)
Convexity → Convex Hull - ? Only selectable when proper parts of the model are selected.
Convexity → Component Convex Hull - Basically use this to create working Geometry LODs. Makes the model “convex hull”.
Convexity → Select Half Space - ?
Convexity → Find Non-Convex Points - ? Only selectable when three or more points are selected.
Convexity → Make Convex - ? Only selectable when <something ?> is selected.
Convexity → Convexity Fine Tune -? Only selectable when <something ?> is selected.
Convexity → Split to Convex -? Only selectable when <something ?> is selected.

Select Next - ?

Transform Record →
Merge - Merges selected points.
Merge Near … - Merges selected points in the distance specified in the dialog. This can be used to delete duplicate / identical points or to make lower resolution LODs by reducing model details with the Detect button (experiment to best values).

Draw →
Reverse - ?
Uncross - ?
Remove - Removes a selected face(s).
Degenerated Faces → Check - ?
Degenerated Faces → Repair - ?
Split / Hole - ?
Move Top - Moves selected faces to top. This should be done to faces with alpha channels to get rid of the ugly transparent edge bug.
Move Bottom - Moves selected faces to bottom.
Move to next alpha - ?
Move to prev alpha - ?
Sort - Sorts faces, comes handy when trying to get rid of sections.
Sort Alpha - ?
Recalculate Normals - Recalculates normals on selected faces, if not selected, all are calculated. You can see face direction from the blue line.
Face Properties - Brings up Face Properties menu.

Sharp Edge - Makes edges sharp.
Smooth Edge - Makes edges smooth.

Merge Textures - Not working in ArmA / ArmA 2 O2. In OFP O2 this merges textures using the PTM files.

Match Direction… - Brings up match direction menu.
Calculator… - Brings up calculator menu.
Normalizace Animace… - Brings up normalize animation menu. Notice the tools name and actual menu dialog name.
Copy Weights… - Brings up copy weight selections menu.
Find first point with >3 weights… - ?
Weight Automation - Brings up <something?> menu.
Adaptovani Animace (obliceje)… - Brings up <something?> menu.
Mass Texture & Material Renaming… - Brings up the mass texture rename tool. Very useful to check missing textures and rename paths and textures throughout the entire model.
Model Config Editor - Brings up model config editor.
Window
Four Views - Changes O2 to default four views window mode.
Split - Automatically selects the four window center position and you are able to move it around. Same effect if you just click on the center position.
Status Bar - Bottom status bar on / off.
Main Tool Bar - Main tool bar on / off.
View Control Bar - View control bar on / off.
Edit Tool Bar - Edit tool bar on / off.
Animations - Animations window on / off.
Extrude Segments - ?
History - History window on / off.
