ArmA 1 aka Armed Assault (ArmA)

If you have ported some OFP terrains or your terrain just happens to use 50m cell size which doesn't give that high terrain resolution, you can artificially enhance the resolution. This is what you can do:

Use Roller to enhance terrain resolution and photoshop to smooth out it.

1. Roller.exe ofpip_w_freya.wrp –terrain-cell-size 6.25 -x
2. Import the xyz file into v3
3. Export terrain into picture
4. Open the PNG file in Photoshop
5. Use “gauscher scrim diffuser ” with 1,5 to 2,5 pixel radius
6. Save it import the picture into v3 again

Done.

Roller also shows what size you have to use, eg 6.25→2048
