This page is meant for ArmA 3, but the tools come with features dating back to supporting OFP files so its “wrong” to say that these are somehow ArmA 3 tools, but…
Three versions exists, free, pay subscription and Linux. Well OK maybe that's two as free and Linux are the same.

Free Tools
Free tools are those available in Mikero Tools homepage to download (except MikeroUpdate*.exe, its the pay subscriber tool updater).
Download and install, use as much as you want, cant be any simpler than that
The difference between free tools and subscriber are that some tools are missing from free ones (for example the highly useful MoveObject.exe), you cannot obfuscate with the free tools and you miss out on frequent updates and improvements to the code. pboProject will still build a terrain WRP for you but it warns you that it might not be correct.
Pay Subscriber Tools
How to Pay
At Mikero Tools homepage read how to subscribe from “aaaSubscriber.htm”, it has the small details which emails to use in paypal and so forth. After your payment you should receive email from Mikero which has your password to use with MikeroUpdate (read below).
Install
Download latest MaverickUpdater.<VERSION>.installer.exe (MikeroUpdate).
Run MikeroUpdate which installs the updater software. In the updater you have to write your “login token”, this token can be found from the mikero subscriber maverick web site when you have been logged in under “Updater Access Token”. Copy paste the token into the MikeroUpdate and click login button.
Now you should get list of installers automatically. if not, you are using the wrong token.
Installers appear in the dialog, it gives you option to install. Once installed the option turns into “Re-Install”.
All the tools are installed to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mikero\DePboTools\” directory (no option to change that).
How to Use
There is so many various situations how to use them its too much to list here. But easiest way is to use windows (7) start → all programs → mikero → depbotools, then choose the installed tool you need like for example pboProject.
More hardcore editing guys are using the tools the old fashioned way, from a command line. That is like a whole another tutorial
All tools come with extensive documentation in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mikero\DePboTools\<nameOfTool>\docs\” directory and readme.
Uninstall Mikero Tools
Windows control panel has no uninstall option for Mikero Tools, you need to browse into directory of:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mikero\DePboTools\docs\
And then into the individual tool directories like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mikero\DePboTools\docs\ExtractPbo\
And double click <ToolName>.Uninstall.exe to uninstall them one by one.
The uninstallers will remove Mikero Tools start menu links, files and directories. The last Mikero Tools you uninstall will remove the Docs\ directory also.
