Windows 10 Compatibility

Are you using Windows 10 and Terrain Builder is freezing randomly, acting up or plain and simple locking up?

With win10 you must use XP SP3 mode when running terrain builder.

Note: if you use XP SP 3 mode, you also have to run the P: drive setup bat file as normal user and once as admin.

This was some probably 2017 or 2018 era bug report, I believe this has been fixed in recent years and today when you install ArmA 3 tools which include latest Terrain Builder, there is no reason to use this compatibility mode. However if you do experience such issues described above please let me know in ArmA 3 Forum.
