ArmA 3 Terrain Builder

Align Objects To Ground

Terrain Builder to align floating (or buried) objects to the ground properly you have to set the relative elevation to zero.

Drag a box around the objects and set relative elevation to zero.

If you have huge number of objects, export them and edit the .txt file directly (currently there is no tool to automate this), then import objects txt file back into terrain builder.

People sometimes call floating objects lets say trees like “flying trees”, heh whatever the wording is but the trees/objects are not flying, the are static in-place which means they are just floating ;-)

Back in OFP WrpTool we had an menu option to “align all objects to ground”, man that was so sweet. As with many things in modern times, its often times one step forward two steps back, I mean how do you explain Terrain Builder missing such an essential bare bones basic terrain editing feature as align all obj to ground? I sure cant… :-?
