Maybe you already met with this problem: you need to create very angular object,but if you try to do that it´s till not that what you want (picture)

but you want it looks like this one:

What you must do? It's very simply select all faces (CTRL-A) and press U.

Smooth and Sharp Edges, Working with cylinders.

Look at this muzzle before using Sharp edges:

Little bit ugly, dont you think? Nevermind! we'll repair it, select all “start places” of all cylinders.

Then press U for sharp and as you can see it looks much better.

NOTE: Don't sharp all faces on cylinder

Sharp only the edges!
