PMC Terrain Builder Mini Tutorial

ArmA 3 Terrain Builder Mini Tutorial by PMC

  1. add mapframe, click cancel
  2. import terrain (xyz file)
  3. import satellite image (png)
  4. import satellite mask image (png)
  5. layers manager do on all layers RMB → Terrain Coordinates & Properties, easting: 200000, northing: 0
  6. save project
  7. click create subfolders
  8. samplers → choose correct size parameters
  9. processing → rebuild terrain
  10. copy your data ground texture rvmat's and paa's into <project>\data\ directory.
  11. copy your layers.cfg file into <project>\source\ directory.
  12. from mapframes window, choose defaultmapframe_2, RMB → properties. now import Layers.cfg
  13. save project
  14. file → export → wrp

Adding P3D objects into a template

  1. create vis_new template library
  2. give it a name
  3. create vis_new library from directory
  4. source directory point to → P:\a3\plants_f\Tree
  5. click ok, all done
