ArmA 3 Terrain Builder Mini Tutorial by PMC
add mapframe, click cancel
import terrain (xyz file)
import satellite image (png)
import satellite mask image (png)
layers manager do on all layers RMB → Terrain Coordinates & Properties, easting: 200000, northing: 0
save project
add mapframe, scale it about the size of your heighmap, easting: 200000, northing: 0
click create subfolders
samplers → choose correct size parameters
processing → rebuild terrain
copy your data ground texture rvmat's and paa's into <project>\data\ directory.
copy your layers.cfg file into <project>\source\ directory.
from mapframes window, choose defaultmapframe_2, RMB → properties. now import Layers.cfg
save project
file → export → wrp
Adding P3D objects into a template
create vis_new template library
give it a name
create vis_new library from directory
source directory point to → P:\a3\plants_f\Tree
click ok, all done
