PMC Terrain Builder Mini Tutorial
ArmA 3 Terrain Builder Mini Tutorial by PMC
- add mapframe, click cancel
- import terrain (xyz file)
- import satellite image (png)
- import satellite mask image (png)
- layers manager do on all layers RMB → Terrain Coordinates & Properties, easting: 200000, northing: 0
- save project
- click create subfolders
- samplers → choose correct size parameters
- processing → rebuild terrain
- copy your data ground texture rvmat's and paa's into <project>\data\ directory.
- copy your layers.cfg file into <project>\source\ directory.
- from mapframes window, choose defaultmapframe_2, RMB → properties. now import Layers.cfg
- save project
- file → export → wrp
Adding P3D objects into a template
- create vis_new template library
- give it a name
- create vis_new library from directory
- source directory point to → P:\a3\plants_f\Tree
- click ok, all done
